Expertise
As a digital project manager, I am responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the successful delivery of digital projects for your organization. My role combines elements of project management with a deep understanding of digital technologies, ensuring that projects related to web development and other digital initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
Skills
My key skillsets include defining project goals, scope, and deliverables, creating project plans and timelines, allocating resources, and managing budgets. I act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring everyone is aligned with project objectives.
Communication
In addition to technical expertise, effective communication skills are crucial for myself and other digital project managers. We must be able to convey complex technical information in a way that is understandable to non-technical stakeholders, and vice versa. Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach are also traits I value, as the digital landscape is dynamic and projects may face unexpected challenges. Engaging key players at the right time, and ensuring all stakeholders have relevant information, is required for our project's success.
Experience
I have been managing digital projects since 2009 in various industries, including colleges and universities, animal welfare, home remodeling, and small business development. In 2020 I joined DevCollaborative, where I have been the Digital Project Management Lead since 2022. We build Drupal and WordPress websites for nonprofit organizations.
